In grading, mesh 120 or 130 is extremely soft and is almost micronized.it is sometimes see in the form of flour as well. However, the smallest size of this type is equal to 40 mesh and has no similarity with mesh 120 or mesh 130 salt. In practice this product range is the third range of products produced by salt milling plants or is the range above the fine salt rage.however the grading of the products of somewhat different due to the higher segregation. This type of salt product, especially with a size between 25 and 35 or 45 mesh, is similar in appearance to recrystallized adible salts (which is the standard edible salt produced by health plants) and is hard to identify for the public. Hence, unfortuneately ut is sold illegally as edible salt in the market. It is mostly sold to theunderground illegal producers, who abuse the brands of other approved companies to package and distribute this salt in the market.

The salt itself undergoes no segregation and treatment and has a purity o between 97 and 98.5 instead of a minimum purity of 99.2. this degree of Purity is illegal but it can be negiected. However some law violators spray iodine on these salts to add iodine to them so that they can pass the iodine tests. This action is very dangerouse, inhumane and immoral. Moreover, since sometimes the iodine is sprayed without a specific device and laboratory tests it increases the iodine content to 240ppm which is highly toxic and dangerous. Therefore, this type of salt is commonly sold as table salt by factories. Some people also iodine these salts with more various and highly unsuitable gradings and export them to Iraq, Georgia, etc. this action not only is immoral and illegal and but also ruins the Iranian salt industry, destroys the image of credible brands and the fame of our dear country.
